I was listening to a few songs from Marilyn Manson's new album Eat Me, Drink Me. Where did his sound go? Anyone know?? It doesn't sound like the Marilyn Manson I loved and greatly enjoyed. Rammstein finally got their sound back with Rosenrot, but did they take Manson's with them? Yes the voice is the same, it's the guitars and the techno and the overall feeling of it. I can't dance to this music like I could with Golden Age of Grotesque What's up with musicians and bands today? It's not a bad thing to not be popular.

Anyhow, how much of the money from the sale of the CD goes to the people that worked their butts off coming up with the music, the artists? It seems to me not very much. For example, a major recording label released a recording of my viola teacher's chamber group without ANY of their consent, so obviously they aren't getting paid from the sales. So that just simply undermines my willingness to go to a store to buy a CD. I probably do so more often if some money went to the artists more often than not.

When will the weather be stable?? It's circa 66 degrees Fahrenheit and it's MAY. Shouldn't it be like 80 degrees. Ever since that awesome weather in April my mind went on vacation. I can't focus and I'm not motivated at all. Not at all. I freak out about grades for a sec than don't move on. I just get pissed at Sarah a few months ago.

Yeah I found that on the back of packaging for some new headphones which will hopefully halt my becoming deaf. Especially in the left ear. It started happening Friday. I realize that I shouldn't use ear buds anymore. I never liked them anyways. They were too big for my ears. My ear drums just don't like having a little something in my ear blasting music. Sure I use q-tips for hygiene, but you don't use earbuds for cleaning ears.

Anyhow, I was too lazy to do homework Saturday and instead read something totally unrelated to math and chem. I'm sure I'll be able to do it. Osmotic pressure is better than total air pressure for me. I failed that quiz...

Funny quiz. I actually bothered doing this. Kinda long. Some answers are obvious though.

Making a movie out of the book Blood and Chocolate? Gosh. It seems that any excellent to decent book gets made into a movie.

Well I only learned of that today, since I haven't been on livejournal for quite a long time.

00t. IMEA all-state coming up quickly. Hopefully I'll do well there. Will be leaving Wednesday. I'll be missing two days of school. Gosh. Time flies by when you're on the computer.

Eh??

Since my dad stayed at home from work today, it feels like a Saturday even though I know it isn't. Plus I had chamber coaching today which usually takes place on Saturdays too... Been quite confused. The day has slipped through my fingers like subatomic sized particles, most of which I spent practicing piano. The surprising though is that my fingers aren't sore at all. Of course my hands have been through much rigorous exertions. (I play viola, in other words, an oversized violin. Plus my hands are small.) I'm just a tad out of it. I plan on things in my head but never get to them. Plus most neighbors aren't too keen on sophomore girls coming up to their door and talking to their senior son at like 8 o'clock.

But look. It's a little after 23:00 right now. Should get going to bed... If I really wish to....

Well I haven't been on here for quite a while. Probably much has been going on with the holiday and all. Other than icy hands, and a slight fever, I'm doing well. Which is good.

My mom is out buying cheap candy canes for my friends. I feel a bit guilty about that because they've bought me customized gifts. Or at least should have by now. But I've broken the tradition of getting ALL my teachers gifts. I'd have to go before school and just give them, because I can barely fit all my stuff in my minute locker without gifts with all my school books and stuff.

Enjoy your holidays whatever they may be.

Brrrr... Snowflakes

Pit orchestra is SO time consuming. At least I didn't have it today. But I had to go to school even though there was a blizzard and all the school districts in the Chicago area were not in session!!! Even the district I went to grade school wasn't in session. My mom was too scared to drive because of the icy roads, so I took the bus. So many kids didn't bother coming. My friends and I were about to go to Panera Bread, but we let the snow stop us.

*shivers* A hot chocolate would be really nice.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all, though some of you may not celebrate it, in case I forget tommorrow.

Hmm, this pic could be a portrait of me, even though I'm not feathered.
